The ACT Showjumping Club hosts regular competition days, including both official and unofficial classes. These competitions take place at Equestrian Park on Cotter Road in Yarralumla, the same venue as our Training Days.
Events are promoted through our Club's newsletter, "The Related Line," on this website, our Facebook page and entries can be made via Global Entries Online. Major events, such as the ACTSJC Canberra Cup and the Canberra Classic, are also advertised on the Jumping NSW website.
The Club boasts a wide range of professional showjumping equipment, offering an ideal opportunity during training days for horses to get accustomed to a range of fences and fill they might face in competitions. These training days are relaxed and informal, fostering a friendly and supportive atmosphere among riders. A non-judgmental attitude prevails, encouraging participants to ride at their preferred height and speed.
Riders are expected to wear neat, casual attire on training days, along with an EA-approved and tagged helmet and appropriate footwear while mounted.
